As General Manager, Bioenergy, you will have full P&L responsibility for Envest’s bioenergy platform, overseeing multiple bioenergy production sites across Ontario and future markets. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of site managers, operators, and technical experts to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations, while driving growth, innovation, and continuous improvement.

You will play a central role in scaling our platform, optimizing asset performance, and delivering high-quality renewable natural gas (RNG) to market. This role requires frequent travel to sites and close coordination with the executive team, engineering, and business development.

Reporting to the Power Plant Supervisor, the Power Plant Operator is responsible for the effective daily operation of the power plant. This includes monitoring and analyzing equipment data, maintaining accurate logs, identifying issues, and performing both preventative and corrective maintenance to maximize plant uptime. The role ensures all plant operations and maintenance activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with Envest policies, technical standards, and regulatory requirements.

In this project-focused role, you will be responsible for leading the engineering execution for major projects, working closely with Envest leadership, EPC/EPCM partners, equipment vendors, and internal stakeholders. You will ensure technical compliance, quality of engineering deliverables, and effective integration between engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
